Well the 96 ladies survived the rigours of three days at the beautiful Champagne Sports Resort. Only two injuries, one being her dignity where an ice bucket of water was emptied on her head by her club mates while another ”youngster” pulled a back muscle while doing the “Twist” on the dance floor. With generous sponsors Distell giving the players Amarula. Pongracz and Savanna Angry Lemon, bad shots were quickly forgotten and the party carried on and on. A great time was had by all and we look forward to seeing you again 8 – 11 November 2015 at Champagne Sports Resort.
Following requests from the ladies for a second event and after visiting the resort clubs not to far from Johannesburg we picked Euphoria Golf Estate & Hydro which is two hours away from Johannesburg on tarred roads, with a great golf course, clubhouse, luxurious hotel accommodation and of course the highlight – dinner on top of the mountain reached by cable car, which will certainly be a winner. Dates: Sunday 22 – Tuesday 24 March 2015. See Page 26 for more details.
Sad News – the passing of Randpark CEO Doug Bain who certainly was one of the most hands on and innovative managers in the country. Doug in a relatively short time turned the club into the complete family product and he always had time to talk to his members. He will be sorely missed!
2015 and exciting times ahead. The SA Open in January and other events on the European circuit coming up soon. Will Tiger get back to the top?
To all our Readers, Advertisers and Sponsors have a wonderful Festive Season and may all your lip-outs lip-in.
See you on the Tee
